SOJIN PARK

Sojin park is an artists and designer who leads Assembled Half, a project based in both Berlin and Seoul. Her work visual art, Textile and fashion while emphasizing sustainability and individuality.

​

- Assembled Haft is  project designed by artist Sojin Park. She creates hand made and one-of-a-kind garments and Art pieces made. A specific season or concept usually does not have a big influence on her work. She combines fashion work with her personal artwork.

​

Her projects pursue and practice “wasteless” by combining and dying left pieces of fabric, mainly linen and wool. That is why she works on her own without factory production. 

 

Collecting the tiny, trifling, holed pieces of fabric wounded like a scar, and creating something out of it, Sojin Park herself paints on the fabric and hand-stitches. Throughout the whole process, she reinterprets long lasting tradition of clothing this way.    

 

This work reflects a life with a soul that one lives in her own tempo.
