Earth monster : Sojin Park

The fashion industry is also so essential to social media. the massive waste that comes with
the incredibly fast, trend-based consumerism and the elitism.
I focus on this project capturing aspects of nature and also weaving aspects that reflect who
I am as a person. In the beginning I planned to look like a human but it's not human. the one
who collects this and that ,also a mixer. Those on the boundary line, humans between
animals.
I have sourced and acquired a lot of textiles and fabrics that I keep in a bin to recycle and

reimagine for wearables or textiles pieces. Friends have given me old clothes and dead-
stocks. I find anything that appeals to me in texture or quality. Natural dyeing of tattered

leftover fabric pieces with leaves and petals, Korea traditional black ink.
